Dog requirements
· must be fully vaccinated and current
· must be licensed with your city or county (State Law)
· have a safe and strong leash
· have a flat collar with identification tags (name, license, contact numbers)
· friendly with unfamiliar people
Terms and Conditions
· For in-home pet care and for pet care in the pet sitter’s home, the pet sitter will stay overnight with the dogs for a minimum of 12 hours. · During the day the dogs may be left alone for a maximum of 4-5 hours at a time.
· Please alert the pet sitter of any separation anxiety and discuss how long the dog is usually left unattended.
Equipment
DogZenergy may ask that you purchase either a head-collar or specialized body harness if you don’t have the appropriate equipment.

Leaving a key on file
This allows DogZenergy to be available for short notice visits, but is not mandatory. All it takes is a phone call or email to set up future services. It can also be difficult to arrange drop off and pick up key visits.
House Codes/Garage Door Opener
DogZenergy will accept an opener or code if that is the way you would prefer entry however, a physical key is required in case of power outage or malfunctioning equipment.
Off-leash
All dogs will be off-leash when in a fully fenced enclosure such as a dog park or private backyards, unless given permission by the owner to let the trained dog off-leash in a place with no fences such as the beach.
Cancellation Policy
A minimum of 24 hours cancellation notice is required, except in the case of extreme emergency. Cancellations resulting with less then 24 hours notice may be charged 50% of the full rate.
Extra Fees
In the case that a dog relieves himself within the pet sitter’s vehicle, there is a $50 seat cleaning fee. Any damage done to the pet sitter’s vehicle/home/property, such as chewing on walls, seat belts or doors, is the financial responsibility of the dog’s owners. It is the responsibility of the dog owner to alert the pet sitter to any destructive behaviors.
